Strawberry and Chocolate Mini Trifles

“Swing it, shake it, move it, make it

Who do you think you are?

Trust it, use it, prove it, groove it

Show me how good you are”

How about some Mini Strawberry and Chocolate Trifles?

I had some left over chocolate sponge cake when one of my sponges got stuck in the Bundt tin and was more mess than cake. Still tasted lovely though so obviously I didn’t want to just throw it away. But what to make with the cake mess/crumbs?

I didn’t really fancy making cake pops. But I did have cream!

So voila, trifle! Who doesn’t like trifle?!

To make it a little bit more decadent I soaked the cake mixture with some espresso coffee (strong brew), and a splash of Disaronno and then left to infuse. It made all the difference!
